A technical issue induced more than 100 American Airlines flight cancellations to and from Charlotte-Douglas International Airport Thursday evening.
According to American Airlines, the regional provider, PSA Airlines, skilled a technical issue that has induced them to cancel their flights for the rest of the night.
The complete variety of canceled flights is roughly 275 and about 120 in Charlotte.
GSP Airport canceled a number of American Airlines flights to Charlotte, Washington, D.C. and Philadelphia Thursday night, in response to the airport’s web site. As of 10 p.m. on Thursday, the American Airlines flights scheduled for Friday out of GSP are on time.

American Airlines despatched a response to WBTV Thursday evening when contacted for remark.
“Our team, in coordination with PSA, is working hard to resolve the issue as quickly as possible and take care of our customers by accommodating them on mainline flights or other regional carriers. We never want to disrupt our customers’ travel plans, and we are sorry for the trouble this caused. Our customer relations team will be reaching out to all of those who have been impacted by this issue.”
