Anthony Anderson Is Being Investigated By Los Angeles Police But He Denies Any Wrongdoing

Representatives for the Black-ish star stated he “unequivocally disputes the claim.”

Anthony Anderson, one of many stars of the ABC sitcom Black-ish, is denying any wrongdoing after police confirmed he’s the topic of a legal investigation.

“He was listed in a crime report as a suspect and the investigation is ongoing,” a Los Angeles Police Department spokesperson instructed BuzzFeed News.

The spokesperson stated they may not present additional particulars in regards to the alleged incident, nor when the crime report was taken, because of the ongoing investigation.

A spokesperson for Anderson instructed BuzzFeed News, “It’s unlucky that anybody can file a police report whether or not it’s true or false.”

“The authorities haven’t contacted Anthony or any of his representatives about this matter,” the spokesperson added. “Anthony unequivocally disputes the declare.”

Earlier on Friday, The Blast reported that an unnamed girl had alleged to police the actor had assaulted her.

A spokesperson for ABC didn’t instantly reply to a request for remark.
