Downed tree, transformer blamed for south Seattle outage; power mostly restored

Seattle City Light crews had been out Sunday morning scrambling to revive power to greater than four,000 clients in Columbia City and Beacon Hill.

A downed tree and blown transformer had been blamed  for a power outage that left almost four,400 residents and companies with out power Saturday morning.

By 11:30 a.m., power was restored to all  however a few hundred clients in Columbia City and Beacon Hill, in response to Seattle City Light.

The incident occurred within the 2500 block of South Columbian Way about 9 a.m., in response to Seattle police.

The preliminary outage was intensive, nevertheless by late Saturday morning just a few pockets of bother remained:
