A Hoosier has been chosen as the subsequent director of NASA’s Johnson Space Center in Houston.
Mark Geyer was born in Indianapolis and obtained his bachelors and masters levels in aeronautics at Purdue University.
Geyer has spent almost 30 years with NASA. His most up-to-date function is with the human explorations and operations missions the place he supplied path for all NASA missions involving people.
In a press release from NASA, Geyer stated it’s an honor to guide the middle.
“The Johnson Space Center has unique capabilities that are critical to NASA’s ability to execute our mission to take humans farther into the solar system,” stated Geyer.
He’ll take up the place subsequent week after the retirement of the present director.
