Tennessee woman’s moon dust lawsuit moves forward

MURFREESBORO, Tennessee — A girl is suing NASA to maintain moon dust that she says was given to her by astronaut Neil Armstrong. 

Laura Cicco claims Armstrong gave her a vial of moon dust practically 50 years in the past when she was a baby, according to a report.  

Cicco says her father was mates with Armstrong via aviation circles. 

NASA considers all lunar materials authorities property, so Cicco is suing to ensure the area company would not take her dust away.  

However, testing as as to if the dust is genuine was not conclusive. Some, like area historian Robert Pearlman, consider it’s truly simply pixie dust.  

A federal court docket might resolve whether or not Cicco will get to maintain the dust.
