Wednesday’s TD Ottawa Jazz Festival headliner St Germain cancels, Postmodern Jukebox steps in

The TD Ottawa Jazz Festival has made an 11th hour substitute, reserving YouTube sensation Postmodern Jukebox to play Wednesday night time in the place of home/nu-jazz act St Germain.

French musician Ludovic Navarre, who performs as St Germain, current underwent surgical procedure and was advised by physicians to cancel his group’s North American tour, the competition stated Monday night time. The competition is providing refunds to St Germain ticketholders at ottawajazzfestival.com.

Also referred to as PMJ, Postmodern Jukebox is a musical collective based by pianist Scott Bradlee that has amassed greater than a billion YouTube views and three.four million subscribers for greater than 200 clips that function up to date and traditional pop tunes re-imagined as old-time jazz and swing numbers.
