Luke Perry Dead at 52 After Massive Stroke

Luke Perry has died. On Monday, March four, the actor, 52, handed away at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Burbank, California, after suffering a massive stroke. TMZ was first to report the information.

Us Weekly confirmed that Perry was taken to the hospital on Wednesday, February 27, after he had a stroke at his house within the Sherman Oaks neighborhood of Los Angeles. His rep instructed Us at the time that the Beverly Hills, 90210 alum was “under observation at the hospital.”

A spokesman for the Los Angeles Fire Department instructed Us that paramedics responded at roughly 9:40 a.m. after a 911 name. Perry was transported through ambulance to the hospital.

The Riverdale star’s 90210 castmates sent messages of support after information of his situation broke. Shannen Doherty, who performed his character Dylan McKay’s love curiosity Brenda Walsh, shared a throwback photograph of herself and Perry hugging through Instagram. “My friend. Holding you tight and giving you my strength,” she wrote on Thursday, February 28. “You got this.”

Ian Ziering chimed in along with his personal Instagram submit, writing: “No words can express what my heart feels hearing today’s shocking news. Let us all say a prayer for his speedy recovery.”

Perry starred on the Fox teen drama sequence, which ran from 1990 to 2000, alongside Tori Spelling (Donna Martin), Jennie Garth (Kelly Taylor), Jason Priestley (Brandon Walsh), Ziering (Steve Sanders) and Doherty.

Beverly Hills, 90210 revival of sorts was confirmed on Wednesday, although the eight Seconds actor was not set to seem within the Fox replace.

The Buffy the Vampire Slayer star extra just lately starred on Riverdale as Fred Andrews, the daddy of principal character Archie Andrews (KJ Apa). The sequence debuted in January 2017 and was renewed for a fourth season in January 2019.
